Meaning notes, not final translations

This page turns the dua source policy into a practical topic index. It does not try to publish every supplication at once. Instead, it starts with a small set of Quranic duas whose references are clear, whose Arabic wording can be checked, and whose meanings can be explained without pretending that a translation replaces the Arabic.

The topic structure helps readers find a dua for broad needs such as mercy, repentance, knowledge, family, prayer, steadfastness and forgiveness. It also helps editors maintain the page safely: every row must keep the Quran reference, Arabic text, transliteration and meaning note together.

Translations on this page are meaning notes. They are written to orient English, Chinese and Uyghur readers, but they are not presented as final devotional wording. Readers who want to memorize a dua should preserve the Arabic source wording and learn pronunciation from a qualified teacher or trusted reciter.

The table is intentionally modest. A smaller reviewed list is better than a large unsourced list, especially when readers may repeat or teach the words. Future additions should follow the same rule: source first, wording second, translation third, and context always visible.

FAQ

Can I treat the meaning note as the exact translation?

No. The meaning note is an aid for understanding. The Arabic wording and source reference remain the anchor.

Why are only eight duas listed?

The first version favors source confidence and editorial review over a long unsourced list.
